Learn more about Terms Documents on LeadLabs with our quick tutorial video:
LeadLabs helps you collect user data compliantly.
Typically visitors to your website will provide you with their personal data in exchange for something -this might be access to a service, a white paper, a training video, or some other content.
The Terms Document covers the other half of the equation. The Terms Document explains what the user will get in exchange for giving your their personal data and the right to use that data.
Standard practice is to present this information in a Terms and Conditions document and to include a link to this document on every page that collects personal data.
Depending on how onerous these terms are, you might choose to ask the user to explicitly agree to your Terms when providing their data.
LeadLabs helps you maintain up-to-date Terms Documents and to record which Terms each user agreed to at the time personal data was collected from them.
