You click on to create a new supplier campaign.
Step 1 - Source of Data
As mentioned previously, the principle behind LeadLabs is that you have a data collection website.
You send web traffic to it.
It extracts personal data from web visitors, which you turn into leads for specific products.
There is another way of getting GDPR-compliant leads. A third-party can operate a data collection website, send web traffic to it, and extract personal data from web visitors - and then securely pass that data to you.
The first question asked when you create a new Supplier Campaign is how you will be receiving the associated data:
For the first way, where you operate your own website, select "Web Traffic".
For the other way, where a third-party operates the website, select "API Delivery".
Note: "API Delivery" is currently unavailable. we are still working on new features for LeadLabs tool.
If you have third-party traffic sources, please email us on email@example.com to discuss your requirements.
Step 2 - Supply campaign details
There are three areas to the Supplier Campaign details page.
First, at the top of the page is where you name this supplied campaign.
Second, on the left-hand side is where you enter the required information about where the traffic is coming from (the Supplier) and where it is going to (the Website ... indeed, a specific page on that Website).
If you have a custom domain, you can specify that here as well.
New campaigns default to Test Mode, but you can switch it to be either Active or Inactive if appropriate.
Third, on the right-hand side is where you can (if you want) enter financial information. Two payment models are supported:
- CPC - Cost per Click, where you are charged for each web visitor, whether they enter any data or not; and
- CPA - Cost per Acquisition, where you are only charged for web visitors that submit all the required data.
You can set prices in US Dollars or British Pounds.
In future you can get a budgets - specifically, the number of leads you want to accept for a given period.
Fourth, when you are done, press
Note: You have to supply a Campaign Name and fill in the left-hand panel.
At any time you can leave this page (without saving your work in progress) by pressing in the upper right-hand corner.
